It would be a a great shame to lose this wonderful facility in the town centre. I wish you every success and look forward to following the development of the plans - and in the end to using the pool again.

I have been swimming here since the 1960's!Then it had three diving boards.
To make it a success you need some modernisation and a good cafe, oh and bring back the diving boards.

To Steve and Julia, it was a pleasure meeting you on sunday.

Having serviced Holywell Mead Leisure Centre for numorous years, we feel disguested that this well demanded pool, has come to a steady halt.

Our company, IPL (Ison Products Limited) are prepared to service the coin operated locks and wristbands for 12 months, free of charge, should the centre stay open.

This is our contribution to the community, to help uphold this unique facility.

We will back you all the way.
Russell and Julia from Totteridge.

My 5 year old daughter was so sad to learn there would be no outdoor swimming this year. Whilst attendance at Holywell may hav ebeen down the last 2 years, if we have a good summer where do people go? If we want to encourage active youngesters and provide fun things for them in the summer, you can't go wrong with an outside pool. Surely this is better than some stuff the council spend money on. Yes it might look tired, but it still works!

I can't believe it!! We visit this pool all throughout the opening season, it caters for my 5, 10 & 14 yr old children and it has always been a brilliant place to experience with the family and is also surely a good way of keeping fit & active. There is no other pool like it, this is terrible! Why don't they think of other ways to generate money there rather than taking it away from the users. Surely by doing some advertising and driving more people through the door to generate revenue would be more viable than just taking away another much loved facility from the people!

Please let our children enjoy the fun we had at the pool years ago.

I didn't realise the pool had been closed until I looked for opening times for this summer. I think the plans seem very well thought out. I espcially think longer opening hours would help. I often wanted to go after work, but did not make it back to Wycombe with enough time left to actually be able to swim before the pool closed. Good luck with the campaign, thank you!

good luck to everyone involved,
our children need the opportunity to use facilities like these, once gone they will never return,
the rye is such a beautiful place to visit it would be great to have more facilities here, an improved pool, longer opening, cafe etc would make such a difference, lets hope it happens.
