It's a fantastic resource that is worth saving. Could we have a banner with this web address across the front of the green doors at the pool? This may generate more site traffic and support - especially on a hot summer day when the pool is closed!

This has been a great place to relax in the open air and in the centre of town it is accessible for all.

I am fortunate to have an outdoor swimming pool, but will lose this facility when we move in the not too distant future and having benefitted from swimming in the open air I can thoroughly recommend it and will be looking for a replacement. Come in Holymead Pool. It seems to me that one of the biggest factors behind the poor use of the pool in the past has been lack of awareness and extolling the virtues of outdoor swimming. Combine this with cover for patrons during inclemental weather and excellent catering and we should be on a winner. It is certainly worth fighting for.

Holywell Mead MUST be kept open - it is perfect for families who take a day out on the Rye - there is so much for the children to do and going swimming in an outdoor pool rather than being in a stuffy indoor pool is far healthier. Generations of families have been thru the doors of Holywell and it should continue for generations to come. All that is needed is a sound business plan and a team of people that are passionate about keeping the pool open.

A cool swim at the end of a busy day, in a heated open air pool surrounded by pine trees...bliss. It MUST be kept open. £100 a year membership fee? That's nothing comapred with most gyms. Better catering might bring in more profits as well as non swimming customers.

The pool should be re-opened immediately. Its a vital facility that can be used by all age groups and by people from all backgrounds. It is especially important for families who don't have gardens or high incomes. WDC needs to keep this unique facility alive. With the right strategy and an innovative approach this facility could be a goldmine.

Aren't there any celebrities who are Buckinghamshire residents that can lend their support? The profile of this campaign needs to be raised to grab peoples attention and gain publicity.

My husband and I have used the pool regularly over the past few years and feel very strongly that it should be reopened. The community needs facilities such as this and it needs public support to turn it into a viable business. I also have many childhood memories of exciting visits and hope that it can be saved to provide such memories for future generations.

Much more effort should be made to publicise this pool to a wider audience. It is not surprising that too few people have been using it. Many families in the area would enjoy a day out at this Open Air Pool but don't even know it is there. But if it did close, it would be a great loss to the area.

I suggest that somebody asks Lesley Clarke how much WDC have spent engaging a consultancy firm to examine the performance of the customer service team at WDC based in the reception area. The team is obviously failing, phonecalls being passed from pillar to post, it didn't need a consultancy firm costing thousands of pounds to confirm this. It seems that the residents and children of Wycombe are being punished for bad decisions that have been made by the councillors of WDC. Now that are making an even bigger mistake. The money paid to the consultancy firm could have saved the outdoor pool. The pool has been mis-managed for years and this is the end result. If run properly it could be an absolute goldmine.
