Good luck with the campaign. It would be such a shame to see the outdoor pool closed. It is a unique and historic attraction which High Wycombe should be proud of.

It would be so nice if the HMSP could be remained open as it would provide fresh air to swimming on a hot day.

It would be such a shame, particularly for the local children, if the pool has to close. Good Luck with your campaign.

Congratulations to all those who have put so much effort into the forthcoming Business Plan. It looks like a really innovative and contemporary document. Let us hope that the Council accept the proposals contained in the Plan as soon as possible. Then we could move ahead with registering our charity, raising funds and upgrading the Pool. Members could then join in advance of the Pool re-opening. Acceptance of the Plan is the essential requirement for us to proceed. Other activity, in my view, would be premature until we get the keys and a lease.

We, our children and grandchildren live locally and have greatly enjoyed this lovely pool for nearly 30 years; we very much hope it can be saved. All the best with the campaign

This pool is a precious asset to all families living in and around High Wycombe contributing to fitness, health and social interaction. Closing it would be absurd.

BANNER DISPLAYED AT SITE - this is a great idea but should be done sooner rather than later. On MOnday 4th May Fern Britton is opening the May fair on the Rye, there will be press at this event guaranteed and what better high profile celebrity support to win than 'Fern & Phil'. As they are both Bucks residents with children surely they could not ignore this campaign? Has anybody involved with this steering group arranged anything like a stall or leaflet distribution to raise awareness at the May fair?

Our family have lived in the High Wycombe area for many years and have consistantly made use of the open air pool during the summer, we note it's closure with sadness and feel it is yet another unfortunate and misguided decision of local council. I guess the pleasure of open air swimming just doesn't appeal to their promotion of meaningless, excessive consumerism for our local youth culture. Fore sight obviously not a speciality.

This is an important asset in High Wycombe worth saving and using

Good luck with the campaign. It will be fantastic if the pool can be saved and brought to life year round - a huge asset to High Wycombe, to be proud of.
