With the current depletion of pool stock not just in local areas but the UK, more needs to be done to keep these community facilities open and further to this widen access to use. Swimming is a lifeskill which everyone should have the chance to acquire.

Good luck!

Considering the need for us all to take more exercise i am suprised the coucil cannot find the funds for regeneration of this great facility.

This looks like a great campaign and I'd love to see the facilities enhanced, made low carbon and attractive to more people throughout the year. I hope it succeeds!

Good luck with the campaign.
It would be such a shame to lose such a great facility.

I would like to support the Holywell Mead pool& it would be a great loss to the town if it were to go. Please keep it open.

We have recently moved to the area and spent many happy hours with our grandchildren in Holymead Pool last summer - in both rain and sunshine. It is a fantastic facility which will give local children wonderful memories of their childhood. It needs to be kept open.

I agree that a decent bit of advertising would raise enough interest to keep it going. We live in the Maidenhead area and no-one I speak to has even heard of the open air pool but all loved it when we introduced it to them. The fact that the temperature was kept high enough for almost any weather condition should be advertised too.

What could be better for body and soul than to spend some warm summer hours at the outdoor pool? Surely this is a treasure to be enjoyed by generations to come.
