I SHOULD like to congratulate Fusion and all those involved for getting The Rye open air pool (Holywell Mead) spruced up and re-opened in amazingly quick time. I know there has not been time to do a major refurbishment yet, but I was very pleasantly surprised by what has been achieved. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and give the place a friendly atmosphere. It is wonderful to be able to swim again locally in the open air – particularly when the sun is shining, but even when it is not!
The heated pool is now nice and warm, and it is open from early in the morning. I cannot understand why it is not being used more, and can only assume a lot of people still do not know it exists, or do not realise that it is heated. Come on in: the water is lovely!

When trying to find information about Holywell Mead pool all I can find is this, which is great to show support for re-opening the pool but doesn’t give opening times, prices etc, so maybe adding a little bit to the website to say WE ARE OPEN could help alot.
Unless I’m being totally blind…
